DIGI4ECO    (2025)

is a project financed by the European Commission which aims to install several platforms on the seabed to observe the surrounding flora and fauna. The ultimate goals is it to create a virtual ocean, a Digital Twin, for the purpose of monitoring underwater fauna. The platforms could be used to study new species while at the same time accurately record surrounding animals through the deployment of numerous underwater sensors. Spartan Space is developing the automatic docking system for the robots (AUV and USV) as part of the infrastructure of the system.
